Cancellations & punctuality
- If you cancel your lesson with less than 48 hours notice , you will be liable for the cost of your lesson.
- when your instructor arrives for your lesson they will message / call you - if you haven’t arrived for your lesson within 20 minutes your lesson will be cancelled & charged as above .
- Your instructor reserve’s the right to refuse to take you to your driving test - if you haven’t told them when your test is and they are unavailable, if you haven’t moved your driving test date when they have advised you to, if you haven’t had regular driving lessons, or they believe you are not up to the standard required and therefore unsafe to be driving their tuition car by yourself on test. Your instructor will discuss this within plenty of time and discuss the options available.
- if you are late for your lesson , your lesson time will be reduced as your instructor cannot be late for their next customer.
- if your instructor has had to cancel your lesson through no fault of their own , for circumstances such as mechanical breakdown of the tuition vehicle or extremely bad weather they will rearrange your lesson for the next mutually agreed date & time.
- If your instructor feels your attitude or behaviour whilst driving is threatening or dangerous or compromising safety - they reserve the right to cancel the lesson in progress and/or future lessons.
- You must be able to read a number plate from a minimum of 20.5 meters.
- You must inform your instructor if there is any reason why you cannot drive safely or legally - this includes but is not limited to the following- the loss of your provisional driving licence , being under the influence of drugs or alcohol , including prescribed medication that may affect your ability to drive.
